My thoughts

Did I win? Did I lose? Those are the wrong questions. The correct question is: Did I make my best effort?”

People say to my parents, ‘Oh you’ve done so much for her…she is a princess. You’ve achieved a lot. I wonder I have a long way to be a real princess, a winner.  But I have a burning passion to ‘make it’. I have to create a mark for myself improve day by day with a growth mindset.

My parents gave me a most treasured gift, the best thing they did is to teach me to love challenges, be intrigued by mistakes, enjoy effort, and keep on learning. That way, I don’t have to be slaves of praise. I will have a lifelong way to build and repair my own confidence.

All things are difficult before they are easy.” Thomas Fuller.  I am always trying a thing I haven’t done three times. Once, to get over the fear of doing it. Twice, to learn how to do it. And a third time, to figure out whether I like it or not. Once I like it passion overtakes and difficult becomes easy.

Mark Twain said: Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So. . .sail away from the safe harbour. Explore. Dream. Discover.”  Now I am 11 years into middle school, I am sailing away, exploring, dreaming and discovering.

You have to apply yourself each day to becoming a little better. By becoming a little better each and every day, over a period of time, you will become a lot better.” John Wooden

Napolean said:” The world suffers a lot. Not because of the violence of bad people, But because of the silence of good people.”
